Clairvoyance?

Perhaps it's the summer heat, perhaps it's something else, and perhaps it's another something else which I don't want to see. But something's got to give. I don't know what's going to give though although I have my own opinions on what I'd like it to be. I still haven't perked up, and just when I was thinking about a possible new life and opening my email inbox at the same time, this email from a mysterious Janet pops up. To me that name spells clairvoyant, fortune teller, crystal balls and a load of bullshit... usually. When I am at my wit's end, it spells the hope of a whole new world. And somehow this Janet seems to know me? She says that the weeks to come will be extremely decisive for me, that it's going to be one genuine revival and the beginning of a new life. And I like that... until the little voices in my head pipe up and say, yeah, it could be another catastrophe couldn't it? But holy moly, it's as if this Janet is faster than the voices as her email goes on to say that three major events will befall be ''NONE of which will be catastrophic''. Those are the exact words. And they are welcome words but also uncomfortable. I've heard of Big Brother watching, but what's this, a Big Sister watching now? Is it all coincidence or should I be reading something between the lines? Or is Janet a very clever woman (could be man) who is trained to see through all Internet connections, be they wireless or not, and give them hope? You see, in my world, clairvoyants are smirked at, laughed at, mocked and called total crap. But perhaps there's one out of ten million who doesn't deserve that, and she just happened to see my needs all the way through WI-FI.
